Students’ involvement in the ‘RIST’ program, which provides a structured pathway into VCE Agriculture and Horticulture.

Rural Industries Skills Training (RIST) offers Certificate II and III in Agriculture, as a School based Traineeship for students aged 15 and over. Students will need to organise and liaise their own farm placement. RIST provides students with the opportunity to increase their knowledge and develop strategies to facilitate positive on-farm change. The training program is a combination of work-based (on-farm) and off-farm training with supplementary theory and knowledge provided.
